We live in good times!
Everything we want is at out fingertips, literally.
The advancement of technology has brought tremendous comfortability to our lives. Essential things have become basic, without us giving much thought to it.
Our ancestors had to walk for miles to the next spring to get fresh water. With many buckets filled up, they had to walk back these same miles and carry the load on their backs back home. Today we can spare ourselves from this. We sit in our car, drive a few minutes and get our water filled in bottles at the next store. And there are hundreds of more examples like this.
I am not advocating that we go back and live in caves, to live a primal lifestyle (although sometimes I imagine how fun it may be running around naked in the sun and hunting down an animal with a spear), but we must also understand with all the benefits of a cozy and comfortable life there are disadvantages to it.
We have developed from the homo-sapiens to the homo-sedans, meaning we are constantly sitting on our asses. From morning til evening. The whole week, month, year. Our entire lives.
Man has not been made for this. And we can clearly see the rise in bad physical postures increasing with every new generation.
I am a Strongman and I build people’s bodies up with my Strongman-training. But it is very important to know, to build up your body, to make it strong and indestructible, you must have your foundation set. If you have a distorted posture and don’t take care of this first, then you are in for many problems to come.
This is a big problem in today’s fitness industry. So many people think they have to constantly trash their body in grueling workouts. This is good to some degree, but like I said, if you have a physical misalignment and you don’t tend to it, thats where problems start when we get older.
This is where my EXERCISE COACHING comes in, where we strap away of all the bullshit and I thoroughly assess your body and design a program based on your personal physical needs.
